What data we collect

Information you give us. When you use the demo or contact form, or email us, we receive the details you choose to share — typically your name, company, work email, the number of active projects, and the content of your message.

Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure automatically records limited technical information needed to serve and secure the site, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These server logs are kept only for a short period for security and troubleshooting.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies, and we do not run third-party analytics or social-media trackers. Fonts are self-hosted, so loading the site does not send your data to outside parties. Only the strictly necessary technical mechanisms required to operate the site are used.

Why we use your data, and our legal basis

We use the contact details you provide solely to respond to your request, arrange a demo, and communicate with you about Biilby. Our legal basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and running our business (Article 6(1)(a) and (f) GDPR). We never sell your personal data.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your data. We share it only with service providers that help us operate the site and respond to you — in particular our hosting provider, whose servers are located in the European Union. Any such provider acts on our instructions under appropriate data-processing terms.

Where your data is stored

Your data is hosted in the European Union. We do not transfer personal data outside the EU/EEA. Should that ever change, we will rely on the appropriate safeguards required by the GDPR.

How long we keep it

We keep contact and enquiry data only as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable follow-up period, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Technical logs are kept for a short period only.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise these rights, email [email protected].

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Autorité de protection des données — Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit, www.dataprotectionauthority.be).

We may update this policy as Biilby grows or as the law changes. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest version, and any material change will be published here.
